Unfussy Korean eatery with a patio. Relaxed, down-to-earth restaurant with outdoor seats preparing traditional Korean specialties.
"We stopped by here for lunch on our way back to Nashville from North Carolina. We got the Galbi with selected kimchi and the sweet and tangy pork belly. They were so delicious. The portion was very hearty. I looked over my neighboring customers. His bowl of Korean Fried Chicken were all gone too. The pork belly was flavorful and the meat was tender with just the right amount of crispiness and crunchiness. My Galbi was just perfect. The restaurant was clean. The service was very good. Food arrived in a timely manner. It was a great experience. We will definitely visit again."
"Honestly I wasn’t expecting much going in but this place exceeded my expectation! I got the korean fried chicken (half garlic soy and half spicy tangy) and it was really good. I shared with a friend and we both were full after eating this. Also tried Banana pudding and omg I have never had such a good banana pudding anywhere. The servers were very patient with us and answered any questions the group had. Overall, I highly recommend this place."
"2/2026: Delicious food. Range of options from Ramen to Korean to Vietnamese options. Love this place so much!! 5/2026: I come to Han-Mi pretty often, and somehow they still manage to surprise me every time. The food is always fresh, the menu changes seasonally, and their newest item — IceBirdy’s Kimchi Fries — is absolutely outstanding. These fries are piled high with crispy golden fries, tender flavorful pork collar, tangy kimchi, and the most delicious garlic mayo. Every bite has the perfect mix of savory, spicy, crispy, and creamy. Now, a lot of Han-Mi’s authentic Korean dishes are already some of my absolute favorites, so that’s saying a lot — but for Korean-American fusion dishes specifically, IceBirdy’s Kimchi Fries may honestly be at the very top of my list. If you’ve been wanting to try Han-Mi, this is your sign to go before the seasonal menu changes again. I’ve eaten here countless times and tried so many different dishes over the years, and I’m honestly never disappointed. Chattanooga is lucky to have a place like this. If you love Korean food, creative mashups, and consistently amazing flavors, this place is a gem."
